Disneyland announces the most magical deal yet:

'2 More Nights and 2 Days Free,' all summer long

'Happiest Deal on Earth' means five days and five nights of

Disneyland Resort park hopping, for the price of three

ANAHEIM, Calif. (March 24, 2009) –  When travel agents book clients on a three-night Disneyland Resort vacation package for travel through this summer, magic happens:  clients can magically extend their visit with the resort's "Get 2 More Nights Free" offer.  The special summer package provides a magical and affordable way for families to take in all the new fun and adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth this vacation season.

This summer, guests pay for just three nights of hotel accommodations and theme park admission, and then receive two more nights at the hotel and two more days of theme park admission.  Together, the special deal provides guests five days and nights of Disney fun, for the price of three.

Bookings for this limited-time offer must be made between March 24 and August 11, 2009. The offer for 'two more nights free' is valid at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels – Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for arrivals between April 1 and September 26, 2009. Beginning May 1, the offer is also available at participating Anaheim-area Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels, allowing travel agents to offer a wide range of hotel accommodations and prices to fit every client's budget. Guests at a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel must also begin their travel by September 26.

"We know people are looking for great value in their vacations – particularly in today's competitive travel market," said Ed Grier, president, Disneyland Resort.  "With the new '2 Nights Free' offer and all of the new entertainment and attractions at our parks, we are providing our Guests with even more reasons to come celebrate with us."

This summer, the Happiest Place on Earth presents "Disney's Nightastic," a line-up of exciting evening events to electrify the night.  At Disneyland Park, Fantasmic! is bigger, brighter and bolder than ever before.  And the skies above Sleeping Beauty Castle spark to life with a spectacular new fireworks show.  Over at Disney's California Adventure, Tinker Bell works her pixie magic and brings a bright new sparkle to the classic Disney's Electrical Parade.

The park hopping tickets included in special vacation offer make it easy to experience the best of both Disneyland Resort theme parks.  Clients can compete for the highest scores aboard the exciting new Toy Story Mania! attraction at Disney's California Adventure. Then they can hop over to Disneyland for a journey aboard the recently enhanced "it's a small world" attraction -- the happiest cruise that ever sailed.  Clients will enjoy riding "it's a small world" again and again as they search for the new 29 Disney and Disney?Pixar characters now represented in the attraction.

Also, the special multi-day park hopping tickets come with another benefit: admission to Magic Mornings, an early-entry program into Fantasyland and Tomorrowland to enjoy popular attractions such as Finding Nemo's Submarine Voyage, Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and King Arthur Carrousel up to an hour and a half before Disneyland opens to the general public.

Throughout 2009, Disney Parks also is extending an invitation to clients to visit a Disney theme park for free on their birthday. For birthday clients, travel agents can still sell them a value-priced "Get 2 More Night Free" package this summer, and if their birthday falls during their trip, the client may take advantage of the a selection of birthday treat options available with the packages, instead of the free birthday admission:

  • A Birthday Fun Card, with a value equivalent to their Free Birthday Ticket.  The Birthday Fun Card can be used in the theme parks for select merchandise, Disney's PhotoPass, on-site services and recreation activities.  Or…
  • A Birthday Fast Pass ticket which provides four Fast Pass entitlements to select attractions for every person in the birthday party (maximum of 6 guests per party).  Or…
  • A One Day/One Park Ticket that can be used anytime in the next 12 months, starting from the client's date of birth.  This ticket may be used by the Birthday celebrant only.
