HONG KONG DISNEYLAND ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF ALIANA HO TO LEAD ITS SALES AND TRAVEL TRADE MARKETING TEAM
Aliana Ho will join the Resort on November 24, 2008.
November 24, 2008 (HONG KONG, China) – Hong Kong Disneyland’s Managing Director Andrew Kam today announced that Aliana Ho has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Travel Trade Marketing for Hong Kong Disneyland. Aliana Ho will join the Resort on November 24, 2008.
Ho will be responsible for developing and implementing Hong Kong Disneyland’s sales strategies. Her primary responsibilities will be theme park attendance, hotel occupancy and developing new business to enhance the Resort’s performance. Ho will also oversee travel trade and MICE (meetings, incentives, conference and expositions) programs, including travel trade marketing campaigns as well as the Resort’s Hong Kong reservations call center.
Ho will serve as a member of the Hong Kong Disneyland Executive Steering Committee and report to Claire Bilby, Senior Vice President of Sales for Disney Destinations’ Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining the Disney team, Ho served as Senior Vice President of Destination Marketing for Venetian Macau Limited, and before that, was General Manager, Tourism Marketing for the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Hong Kong Disneyland, opened in 2005, is a joint venture between the Walt Disney Company and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR Government). The resort, inspired by the original Disneyland in California, features a family entertainment theme park and two themed hotels. It is located on Lantau Island, ten minutes from Hong Kong International Airport and 30 minutes by train or motorway from downtown Hong Kong.
